Dear Ravit Family and Friends, Sam and Gail have asked me to coordinate the Israel hotel and touring arrangements for Josh and Sivan’s wedding on May 5, 2010. I know that you all are excited about this event and looking forward to being in Israel to share the joy of these two adorable people. What better place to celebrate and share this special simcha for the Ravit Family. After reviewing a number of Tel Aviv hotels, Sam, Gail, Josh and Sivan decided to designate The Dan Hotels as the family’s choice for the wedding guests' accomodations. This prestigious chain is Israel’s oldest hotel chain, founded in 1947, and known for its quality service. Special group rates for the wedding guests, based on a minimum registration, have been secured at the classic Dan Tel Aviv Hotel and its sister hotel, the Dan Panorama Hotel. Both hotels are located on Tel Aviv's picturesque beach promenade, overlooking the Mediterranean Sea and within easy reach of Tel Aviv's historic sites, shops, cafes and restaurants. The hotel rate includes the sumptuous Israeli breakfast. To secure the Ravit Family Group rate all reservations must be made Susan Horwitz. To guarantee a space, please reserve by March 15. RAVIT ISRAEL TOUR Much thought by Gail, Sam, Josh and Sivan went into planning a special 4 day tour package for the wedding guests. They wanted you to experience the wedding festivities, see the Israel’s highlights, have free time to shop, take advantage of the beach, and experience the atmosphere of Tel Aviv at local cafes, restaurants and nightclubs. The tour is designed for the seasoned tourist and first timers to Israel. You will explore Israel’s heritage from biblical to modern times - visit archeological sites, the Western Wall, walk through ancient water tunnels, relax in the Dead Sea and feel the spirit of Israel. Join the Ravit Family for a visit to some of their favorite places during the wedding celebration! The tour will be lead by an English speaking Israel licensed tour guide and includes: entrance fees, coach transportation (as designated) and 2 lunches. Click on “Tours” for additional information and “Reservations” to reserve your space. To find out more details about the hotels and tour, please click on the various boxes at the top of the page. I have included a few commonly asked questions and answers. If you have additional questions or comments, contact me through email, phone or fax or Visit Josh & Sivan's Website I know that Sivan and Josh and Gail and Sam are honored to have you join them for the wedding and the specially planned days. Warmest Regards,
Susan

Frequently Asked Questions How do I get the "Ravit Family Group Rate" at the Dan Tel Aviv or Dan Panorama Hotel? You need to make these arrangements, through Susan Horwitz, the Ravit Travel Consultant. She has acquired these special rates for the wedding guests. In Israel, special group hotel rates are made through a travel agent and not directly with the hotel. If everyone directs their reservation through Susan, it helps everyone with the reduced rates. Will I get less expensive hotel rates through the internet? Feel free to check the internet rates, but be careful that you are comparing “apples to apples”. Frequently, hotels will charge a handling fee, not include breakfast and the rooms may not be as requested. And, we cannot help with these arrangments or problems. Will Christian sites be included on the tour? Sam, Gail, Josh and Sivan are excited about the tour. They put a lot of extra thought into the design and program for all their guests. For those that are interested, you will be visiting some of these sites while in the Old City of Jerusalem. Can I arrange my own tour? We hope that you will join the Ravit Group Tour and visit the sites with family and friends! You can arrange your own private guide. The approximate cost is about $650 - $750 per day in a private van. While I am in Israel, I want to visit Petra, can this be done? Yes, please contact Susan and she can arrange. It is recommended that you plan on 2 days for this kind of trip since you are leaving from Tel Aviv. How do I make my hotel reservations and tour arrangements? Click on “Reservations” and complete the form. A deposit is requested for the hotel reservations and space on the tour. Is there a deadline to make the arrangements? We are requesting that a deposit and registration form by submitted by January 20, 2010 to secure your hotel and tour reservation. What is the weather like in May? May is a lovely time to visit Israel. The winter rains have passed and chance of rain is very, very slight. Temperatures will be in the mid 60’s to high 70’s during the day and cooler in the evening.
